“… The Greatest Purveyor of Violence in the World Today, My Own Government.”

o      In his speech, Beyond Vietnam, Martin Luther King Jr. criticized the US concerning their involvement in the Vietnam War on April 4, 1967. The most powerful part of that speech was when King said, “… And I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today, my own government.” That statement has resonated with me since I heard it; furthermore, I feel the statement is extremely appropriate for describing America’s military campaigns of the last 10 years. Under the Bush Administration, the US military had been engaged in the killing thousands of innocent men, women, and children in Afghanistan. An offensive and unprovoked war against Iraq leading to the deaths of tens of thousands of people. Torture carried out in overt and covert prisons. None of that changed under the Obama Administration, contrary to what he promised. The numbers of troops were increased in Afghanistan, and only now have there been talks of a complete withdrawal from Iraq by Christmas. The number of illegal drone attacks in Pakistan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Libya, and Somalia, killing innocents has been frightening to say the least. Now a leader of a sovereign nation had been basically fired by NATO; furthermore, they allowed him to be murdered in cold blood with a gunshot to the head. Muammar Gaddafi died on October 20, 2011.Gaddafi was then paraded down the street as if he was a prized animal trophy. Does Islam Law permit this? Does the Geneva Convention allow this? I was not a fan of Gaddafi. I followed the opinion that a secular humanist should not be the ruler of a Mooslem country (which Gaddafi was). Gaddafi was a murderous tyrant. The just thing to do would have been to put him on trial for his crimes. Animals have received better treatment than what was afforded Gaddafi. If killing protesters is justification to remove a sovereign leader, then why didn't the UN remove the Prime minster of Israel (every last one of them), Bashar Al-Assad, and President Richard Nixon? If America had kept her nose out of World affairs after World War II, the current strife would not exist. America is the axis of war. How long will America continue her bloody massacre marathon? This anonymous quote seems most appropriate after the murder of President Gaddafi:

I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

The Kharijite Criminal, Anwar Al 'Awlaki, Should Be Arrested, Not Assassinated!

When I took Philosophy: History of World Religions, I had to write a paper for my final. I titled it, One Man's Terrorist Is Another Man's Freedom Fighter. If I had to write this paper now, I would title it, One Man's Terrorist Is Another Man's Head of State. I now know why Ronald Reagan is one of Pres. Obama's (may Allah guide him) heroes. Just as Reagan disregarded domestic and international law, the Obama Administration is walking in those same footsteps. America as a country is sailing in uncharted water with the events of the last few months. Firstly, the U.S. tries to assassinate Gen. Mu'ammar Ghaddafi. Never in the history of the United Nations has the UN told a sovereign leader that since his opposition wants him out of power, he must vacate power. And there will be sanctions and freezing of bank accounts until you do. Secondly, the U.S. government admits to sending Navy Seals into the sovereign nation of Pakistan (without their permission) to assassinate Usamah Bin Laden (who was unarmed). Thirdly, on May 5, 2011, the U.S. sent an unmanned drone into the sovereign country of Yemen (without their permission) to bomb a car that was thought to have Anwar Al 'Awlaki inside. He survived the attack. Since when did the U.S. government have the power to kill its citizens without due process? The Pres. is setting an extremely dangerous precedent. Especially, in the age of extreme Islamophobia. In the future, if a hand full of secular activists in a predominate Mooslem country don't like their Mooslem leader, the the UN could have him removed. A future Republican President could send federal agents to publicly kill Americans who have not only committed crimes, but who are "perceived" to be a threat to the U.S. All the future President will have to do is cite Pres. Obama as a reference. I am not a fan of Ghaddafi, Ibni Laden, nor Al 'Awlaki. I am however, a lover of myself and my Constitutional rights. These actions authorized by Nobel Laureate, President Barack Hussein Obama, could descend into many bloody conflicts in the future. The kharijite criminal, Anwar Al 'Awlaki, should be arrested, not assassinated. Being arrested and standing trial for his crimes is his right as an American, no matter how wicked he is. If his rights don't matter, do mine? When I find out the answer, I'll send you a letter from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Atheists and tyrannies should know that killing Ben Laden -if they truly did- is not a victory against Islaam

Atheists and tyrannies should know that killing Ben Laden -if they truly did- is not a victory against Islaam
a translation for an article written by Sheikh/ Maher Ben Dhafer Al-Qahtani

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allaah, as He deserves, and may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon his last prophet Muhammed.
To proceed,
Christians, Jews and atheistic people in the west were happy due the announcement of the USA president, Barak Obama, about the murder of Usama Ben Laden, the one of innovated jihad. They thought that is a victory for them against Islaam and Muslims, but they were misleaded about Al-haaq (the truth) because of that. And if they declared it publicly and people believed it, they would therefore deceive lots of confused people about the truth of Islaam. They did not know that for us (i.e. Muslim nation) Usama Ben Laden does not represent the real muslim because a real muslim should worship Allaah because Allaah is the creator of mankind, and should follow what the prophet Muhammad -salla Allaah ‘aleyhi wassallam- has commanded him to do, and seek knowledge on the basis of the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad -salla Allaah ‘aleyhi wassallam- and his companions, and not to follow the innovators who have been astrayed like what Ath-Dhawaheri, Ben Laden, Al-Ikhwan Al-Muslimeen, At-Tablighiyeen, As-Sufiyya, Al-Qadyaniyya, and other takfiriyeen have happened to them.
The ones who represent Islaam are the prophet Muhammad’s companions like Abu Baker Asseddeeq, Omar Al-Farooq, Othman, Ali, Ibn Mas’ood, Ibn Abbaas, Aisha and others, radiyallaahu ‘anhum ajma’een (may Allaah be pleased with all of them). Also their followers like ‘Ata’, Tawoos, Sa’eed Ibin Al-Musayyeb, Omar Ibin Abd Al-Azeez, Waheb Iben Mandah radiyallaahu ‘anhum ajma’een; and later scholars like Imam Malek IBen Anas, Al-Imam As-Shafe’ee, Ahmad IBen Hanbal, and Al-Owza’ee and whom followed them upon the righteous salafee Manhaj (ancestor’s methodology), rahimahum-ullaah ajma’een (may Allaah’s blessings be upon all of them); Allaah says: [And the foremost to embrace Islâm of the Muhâjirûn (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Ansâr (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhâjirûn) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allâh is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success.] (At-Taubah (The Repentance): 100).
Those mentioned above and the ones who followed them upon the righteous Manhaj represent Islaam because they knew it so well. But Ben Laden did not follow them exactly (in Faith), he was not on the right path, he was either ignorant about their methodology in Jihaad or a man who speaks of (his own) desire (sahib hawa). He did not seek knowledge from the scholars nor he has shown that he was knowledgeable. He just sent threats and excommunicate the rulers without a proof; and he was obsessed with exploding and hijacking. Usama Ben Laden did not get the strength to fear the enemies, neither he got the righteous methodology to convince the people. And certainly he had not got the correct way to talk properly with the rulers and the nation, like the prophet did while he was in Makkah, the one who Allaah said about him inSûratAl-Qalam (also called Sûrat Nûn)/(The Pen): [And Verily, you (O Muhammad salla Allaah 'aleyhi wassallam) are on an exalted (standard of) character.]. Allaah commanded his prophet Muhammad -salla Allaah ‘aleyhi wasallam- to be gentle and wise while preaching, he said in the Qur’aan: [Invite (mankind, O Muhammad salla Allaah 'aleyhi wassallam) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islâm) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Revelation and the Qur'ân) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better.] (An-Nahl (The Bees): 125). And Allaah also says in the Qur’aan: [And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islâmic Monotheism with His Verses)(Al-'Ankabût (The Spider): 46).
Muslims who have some nonfeasance and negligence are not worse than Pharaoh who tortured his people, yet Allaah said for Moses: ["And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear (Allâh)."] (Tâ-Hâ: 44) even though Pharaoh was saying “I am your lord, most high” and he persecuted Children of Israel, enslaved them, he was afflicting them with a horrible torment, killing their sons and sparing their women, his crimes and cruelty were a great calamity to them. One day, while the prophet Muhammad -salla Allaah ‘aleyhi wa sallam- was in Makkah, he gathered the people on As-Safa and asked them if they would believe him if he said that a herd of horses are coming toward them behind the valley. They answered that they have not found him except an honest man. So he told them that He is only a warner to them in face of a severe torment. He wanted to warn them from Allaah’s punishment and that they have to worship the only god- Allaah; because they did know that He -alone by himself- has created them, provided them from the sky and earth, the one who disposes the affairs of the skies and earth by himself. He (i.e. The prophet -salla Allaah ‘aleyhi wa sallam-) did not hurt them, he talked to them wisely. He wanted them to testify that there is none who has the right to be worshiped but Allaah -azzaa wa Jaal-, he just asked them to say «Lâ ilâha illa Allaah» (there is none who has the right to be worshiped but Allaah) so that they can be saved from Hell. His main concern was calling for monotheism (tawheed Allaah).
On the contrary, Ben Laden was killing and exploding without preaching and without explaining for people what Islaam really calls for. The prophet Muhammad -salla Allaah ‘aleyhi wa sallam- made a treaty with the non-Muslims which is known by “Solh Al-Hodaybiya”. There were no fights nor violence, just negotiations and talking peacefully. Therefore, because of that treaty, many people entered Allaah’s religion (Islaam) in crowds, and after that the conquest of Makkah, and Muslims occupied lots of countries throughout the eastern and western areas, and so many other victories afterwards. All of that because they were applying the reality of monotheism (tawheed) and the prophet’s way (Sunnah). They preached people using evidences and reciting Qur’aan and explaining its verses by the Sunnah and what the righteous salafee ancestors were upon . They won because they spread Islaam by words and actions not by sword and blood, and Allaah said in the Qur’aan: [O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allâh, He will help you, and make your foothold firm.] (Muhammad also called Sûrat Al-Qitâl (Muhammad) or (The Fighting):7).
Because of that Ben Laden did not win (he did not help in the cause of Allaah), he did not learn the methodology. And Scholars of Islaam denied his noxious way of Jihad, killing, destruction, and expelling muslim rulers, and his disobedience without a proof and evidence. The Scholar Al-Imaam Abdel Azeez Ibn Baaz -rahimahullaah- said «Ben Laden has to repent from his noxious behavior», and so did other scholars of Sunnah. Except the ones of innovation, they encouraged him and portrayed him as a hero! And they forgot that heroism is guided with wisdom and what was stated in the Qur’aan, ahaadeeth and the understanding of the Salaf. Ben Laden was on the way of Al-Khawarej by expelling them from Islaam (tekfeer al-hukaam). He revolted against the ruler of his own country (i.e. the King of Saudi Arabia) and went to Afghanistan, and organized a team for bombing, takfeer (expelling people and rulers from Islaam), and for destruction, in the name of Al-jihad!! BUT, it is just corruption that Lord of Mankind doesn’t not authorize. The prophet -salla Allaah ‘aleyhi wa sallam- worn from Al-Khawarej because they are ruthless with the people of Islaam, how come with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)!!
And after that the Sheikh Maher -hafidhahullah- continued explaining about how Al-Khawarej (takfiriyoon) have been doomed by many misconceptions due to their weak knowledge.

Lessons That Should Be Learned By North Africa From Coup d'états of West Africa

As the World is distracted by a possible U.S. Government freeze, Royal British nuptials, and the Italian P.M.'s debauchery, there is still conflict in North Africa and the Middle East. Egyptians actually thought that a military that has been loyal to Hosni Mubarak for 30 years would actually care about their "revolution" and democracy. Libyan rebels are being bombed by the very NATO forces they have been dependant upon since the "No Fly Zone" was established. Northern Africans should read their history books about West Africa. Coup d'états for the last 40 years in West Africa have only led to more coup d'états and bloodshed. The 1st coup d'état in Nigeria in '66, led to a civil war and over a million casualties. In the current day Nigeria, there is still embezzling after embezzling crooked politician. Nothing ever changes from over throwing the government. Read the novella, Animal Farm, for further reference. The corrupt leader does not appear out of thin air. He come from the people of his land. Wherever you find a leader who is wicked, you will find him leading a people who are wicked.

"Produce Your Proof If You Are Truthful."

One thing that the deviant Mooslem and non-Mooslem have in common is they think with their hearts. What is fact comes secondary to what they feel. The vast majority of those people who have a negative opinion of Islam and Mooslems (like the devil in Florida who burned a Qur'an) have never opened a Qur'an. They believe at face value what someone, like FOX News or their preacher, told them about Islam. If FOX News has been caught in various lies, how can you believe a word they say? If they have witnessed their preacher lie (like telling little kids about Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy), then how can they believe him in any regard? Afro-centrics are all too willing to believe an author just because he is Black. When you check the references of one of their books, and report to the Afro-centric that they turned up false, they reply, "They changed it!" They it makes you wonder, who in the Hell is "They?" If "they" changed it, then how did the author get his hands on that information?" Even in the scientific community there is blind following. Ask the average person who believes in evolution to explain Darwin's Theory of Evolution, and they will start telling you about Lamarck's Theory of Evolution (in their ignorance).
Most of the Mooslems I know personally who converted to Islam are very studious in matters of Western Theology. Their own independent study led them to the irrefutable truth of Islam. This is why it shocks me when I run across Mooslems who practice taqleed (blind following)! There are deviant Mooslems who say concerning Allah what they have no right. I heard a deviant Mooslem say yesterday, "Isn't it wonderful we have a God who doesn't have to think. If He had to think, He would need a brain and a brain is a created thing." May Allah rectify that gentleman's situation and give him guidance. Deviant Mooslems from groups, such as the Asharites, Sufis, Shiites, and Kharijites, constantly attack the beliefs of Orthodox Islam which is Salafiyyah (known to English speakers as Salafism). The books written by Salafi Scholars are about 3/4 from the Noble Qur'an and Ahadith (tradtions of the Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam), and 1/4 their own complimentary words. The books of the deviants have a ratio that is inverted, if any proof from the Noble Qur'an and Ahadith are in there at all. How can one refute fact with their own ignorant speech which is all opinion? All these people from the deviant Mooslems and non-Mooslems who blindly follow their family members or religious leaders are followers of their own desires, not of Allah. Allah speaks concerning people like these in the Noble Qur'an:

When it is said to them: "Follow what Allah has sent down." They say: "Nay! We shall follow what we
found our fathers following." (Would they do that!) even though their fathers did not understand anything
      nor were they guided?
     (  سورة البقرة  , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #170)

Allah provides proof for his creatures. Allah says in the Noble Qur'an, "Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidence and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers (2:159)."
If the Creator Wills to provide evidence to His creation, then we should demand proof and evidence from the creatures. As Allah says in The Noble Qur'an, "... Produce your proof if you are truthful (2:111)."

The Price of Freedom... $5 per gal!

On February 17, 2011, the people Libya began a campaign to remove their ruler of the past 40 years, Col. Muammar Gaddafi. This conflict has led to the UN getting involved and imposing a no fly zone against the government of Libya. This unprecedented in the history of the UN to ask a leader to step down and install the opposition. I personally want Gaddadfi, and the leader of Syria, Bashar Al Assad, to step down. This is for religious reasons because it has been declared by the scholars of Islam that these two men are not Mooslem. As non-Mooslems, they should not have dominion over predominately Mooslem countries. However, my heart and my wallet are in two different locations. The price of crude is escalating as the civil was in Libya escalates. This has an effect of everything from gas prices, plane tickets, and food prices. If this continues into the summer, regular unleaded gas could be $5 per gal! We do not even import oil from Libya! Unfortunately, this global market is based on gambling. Speculation based on fear, such as war or natural disasters, can drive up prices on a number of items, such as crude. I don't want to sound selfish, but I hope these conflicts in Africa and the Middle East are resolved soon. I do not want to pay for higher groceries and $5 per gal. regular unleaded.

Japan's Natural Disasters Do Not Mean Apocalypse Now!

On March 11, 2011, Japan was hit by a 9.0 Earthquake. This gave birth to a tsunami that killed over 10,000 and left more than 500,000 homeless. My prayers and empathy go out for the people of Japan. It is times of great tragedy like this that I hear great statements of ignorance. It is well know that Texas is a red state. So as one would expect, there are a lot of simple folks. With that in mind I try to be very patient with my fellow Texans and their mental faculties. The only time I lose it a bit is on subjects where I know they should know better, if they graduated from elementary school. Since moving back here in 2000, I have constantly heard that every military conflict and natural disaster is a fulfillment of prophecy. I guess the statement by Edmund Burke is true, "Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it." If one goes online and uses google, one will find that the first generation of Christians to the current generation have believed the World was coming to an end in their lifetime. Every single generation looked at military conflicts, natural disasters and phenomenon to be fulfillment of endtime prophecy. The vague prophecies of Nostradamus and the likes of William Miller have not helped the situation either. If one just looks at the scientific evidence, one will find this area of the world has the most earthquakes. Wasn't there just an Earthquake in Asia? Did everybody forget about the OTHER tsunami? Earthquakes are quite frequent. They are the result of Earth's crust shifting. This is called plate tectonics. California has so many Earthquakes that the average resident can tell the magnitude of the quake. The Earthquake moved Japan 8 feet. Plate tectonics happen with God's Permission, but every time it happens does not mean Doomsday is right around the corner.

Pres. Obama Should Be An Audacious Advocate For The Unions

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker on March 11, 2011, signed a bill into law that will end most of the rights of state employee unions. It seems as if a certain segment of the U.S. population will not be happy until the employer/employee dynamic is what it was in the late 1800's. What has been surprising is Pres. Obama's near silence of the situation in WI. No groups were as supportive of then candidate Sen. Obama in 2008, other than Obama's own political machine, than ACORN and the unions. Pres. Obama owns a debt to these groups, but it appears he has thrown them under the bus. Pres. Obama, since he has been in office, has not mentioned the bill to allow anyone to form a union, Employee Free Choice Act, let alone fight for it. Pres. Obama seems to have sat back and watched the Republicans destroy ACORN. Now it seems he is sitting back and watching once again as the Republicans destroy the unions. Pres. Obama should be an audacious advocate for the unions. He promised while campaigning in 2007 that he would put on a pair of comfortable shoes and picket with the unions. Maybe the Pres. couldn't find a pair of comfortable shoes because he has yet to join Michael Moore, Ed Shultz, and the unions in WI in the picket lines. I am not an endorser of unions. Picketing and protesting is contrary to the Islamic methodology. However,I desire for Pres. Obama to support the unions because in this slavery driven capitalist society, unions are currently the only way for the worker to receive some semblance of justice. Pres. Obama needs to fight as hard as he possibly can to protect the rights of the workers. I pray to Al 'Ala (The Most High) that Pres. Obama will be on the side of justice and stand with the people.

How Can A Sponsor of Terrorism Denounce Terrorism?

Rep. Peter King was the chairman over a hearing concerning the radicalization of Mooslem Americans of March 10, 2011. I agree with King that extremism of the Mooslem youth should be denounced and examined by the U.S. government and the Mooslem Community. Many a mind from amoungst the youth of the Mooslems have been corrupted by the writings of Abu 'Ala Mawdudi and Sayyid Qutb. I have personally witnessed the corruption of a Caucasian convert to Islam, Khaleel, who loved the writings of Sayyid Qutb. He treated the Galveston Housing Authority several times that he would blow up their administration building. He is currently in jail because of this. There is definitely a failure amongst much of the leadership in the Mooslem community over this issue. You will have Imams in the media denouncing terrorism while at the same time having a copy of Sayyid Qutb's books, Milestones and In Shade of The Qur'an, in the Mosque library. This issue must be dealt with! But what dumbfounds me is, how can a sponsor of terrorism denounce terrorism? Peter King is an admitted funder and supporter of the terrorist group, the Irish Republican Army or the IRA. The IRA was supplied weapons and money by another terrorist group, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Peter King's rational seems to be if the terrorism doesn't happen to Americans, then it's not terrorism. It's the type of mentality I have come to expect from WASP Republicans. Peter King says the community should be held responsible for not speaking out against terrorism. I agree. Every time a Mooslem commits an act of terrorism, Mooslems should denounce. And I say to Peter King, "Every time a WASP commits an act of terrorism, WASP should denounce it!
